Hello, I just wanted to start a thread for those of us applying for the LVN or RN programs at Temple College for 2015. We can share information, discuss any concerns, talk about the HESI exam, getting cleared through the Board of Nursing, or the just nursing program in general! Those of you that are already in the program are more than welcome to chime in.

PLEASE NOTE: I am in no way taking responsibility for any wrong information given, nor will I moderate this thread. I just want to meet new friends and support one another through the process of applying and getting our acceptance letters!

No. What I meant to say was that they are wanting us to take either Intro to A&P, BIOL 1308 or BIOL 1406 first before taking A&P1. Intro to A&P doesn't not replace A&P1. Sorry for the confusion.

Did those accepted to 2015 adn program have orientation yet? Have any alternates been accepted yet that you know of?

Orientation is the 12th and that is the deadline for most things so alternates may not know prolly until after then.

For any one interested who hasn't taken the drug test yet, Any lab test now in harker heights is doing them for 50% of their regular price so it's only $25 and they are really quick.

When ordering the lab supply kit did you guys order the (optional) pocket kit as well?

I'm going to order one but the prices on the sheet are higher then on their website. So I ordered the lab kit and I'm ordering a stethoscope and pocket kit off either amazon or the careeruni site depending on the price and what not.

I saw their stethoscopes are about $15-$25 more expensive than almost every website! You think that company would give a competitive price so more people would order optional supplies from them. A friend told me about a website called Stethoscope Sale - 3M Littmann Stethoscopes and their pricing is remarkably cheaper than the Career Uniforms company.

What is the material for hesi a2,.. is it like basic college or more into nursing
