Temple College 2015

Published

Hello, I just wanted to start a thread for those of us applying for the LVN or RN programs at Temple College for 2015. We can share information, discuss any concerns, talk about the HESI exam, getting cleared through the Board of Nursing, or the just nursing program in general! Those of you that are already in the program are more than welcome to chime in.

PLEASE NOTE: I am in no way taking responsibility for any wrong information given, nor will I moderate this thread. I just want to meet new friends and support one another through the process of applying and getting our acceptance letters!

Well how far along are you into the prereqs? Are you an LVN? or want LVN first then ADN bridge?

do you have any coreqs?

For Temple as far as the HESI this a post I made awhile ago when I took it. Check it out its what will be on the Temple HESI.

Yes I work as LVN now but I never took a pre requisite cuz i got my LVN from a private school back in cali. Never attending high school here in US so the it's a big challenge for me to go back in school after 12 years been off from school. Anything can lead to get this process done will help me a lot. Even I'm afraid to get my Tsi assessment, since I did Tsi Test a month ago and the result I hv to start with developmental English and math. Any resources to get this Tsi and Hesi test will help me alot.

^^this will help you with the HESI, but so will Dev English and math. Keep studying for the HESI throughout taking prereqs and make sure you are getting a lot of As and worst case BS and that will make you a good candidate if you get a 90+ hesi

Has anyone selected their preference for scheduling yet? Just dropped in today to turn in some stuff and Nancy showed me the options of a and b although there is no difference except for a Wednesdays and Thursdays

I don't know we could look at it. I thought that was tomarow.

Ya I just stopped in today and they let me see the schedule options, not much difference tho

What was the schedule for A and B? (time wise)

BTW I ordered my stethoscope from Medisave last Wednesday and I just picked the normal shipping. I got my name on it, hard case, and shipping for $88. I received it this past Saturday!!! The shipping was TWO DAYS and it was so much cheaper than everywhere else I looked. So if your ordering online defiantly check that place out! Don't forget to put the 5% off code (in red on the far right of your screen push discount code)!

Pretty much 8 am- 4 pm Monday, Tuesday

then A was 12-4 pm Wed, and 8 am - 4pm Thurs

then B was 8 am - 4 pm Wed, and 8 am- 12 pm Thurs

Nice I will keep them in mind next time, I went through Amazon and got the Littman II SE for $75 (none of the cool extras u got) and the pocket case fully stocked in black for $11 with no shipping or tax costs. Medisave for sure seems like the way to go though!
