I am starting this for anyone who is applying for the TCC RN program in August.
Congrats Kmart and Vanilla!! How awesome!!
Angela: just my 2 cents as I had to do like you and complete all my sciences really quick - having gone through it the way I did I took micro and API in the spring, chem summer I and APII summer II. Having taken chem prior to APII was super helpful. HOWEVER, if I had to do it over, I would have taken chem and micro in the spring together, API summer I and APII summer II. When I took API in the spring I made a C (horrible instructor), but when I took APII over the summer I made an A. It does require a LOT of time and I wouldn't recommend taking more than those two classes over a summer session, but I feel like I learned more and was able to absorb it much better. Don't know which campus you're at but I can recommend some great teachers at both NW and NE. :-)
So, I'm not going to lie... I can't even figure out how to send the acceptance form back as it won't let me save a copy... any advice?
There was a button at the top right that said something like "Submit" maybe? Then it placed it directly into an email. I was able to save a copy though . . .
@cross, thanks. I think I might just have to go to the computers on campus or something to work this out. And how exactly does the background check work, too? Gosh, I feel so needy. Sorry about that.
@AJK, our deadline for acceptance is 11/14. Good luck! I really do hope that you get accepted!!
First of all Congratulation to Kmart& vanilla......Now I will keep my finger cross for ajkstief and Manu.....
By the way, here is my 2 cents about taking science class. I do agree with the quality of student. It made up a big part of it. However, the quality of instructor is a big factor. I took Chemistry and AP1 in spring, and I made A in chemistry and B in AP1. However, the AP1 instructor is horrible. She does not know anything. Our class start out with 47 people and by the end of semester, there are only 17 people left. 1 people made an A, 2 people with B, and the rest is D and F. I also took Micro and AP2 in fall and made A in both of them. To be honest, I am a straight A student. I finish my BS in computer science with 4.0 and now I have all A in my transcript except for that AP1 with B. As for suggestion, I think taking Chemistry and Micro in Springs, AP1 in Summer 1 and AP2 in Summer 2. But it is a lot of hard work and it also depend on student.
Yeah kmart it took me an hour to figure out how to save it and send it off but I just finished doing that. The deadline is 11/14 for acceptance. I really hope everyone gets in!
I'm gonna go ahead and do the background check because it said it takes 2-4 business days until the school receives it :/
