I am starting this for anyone who is applying for the TCC RN program in August.

Yes you get scratch paper. I got my study guide off of amazon for 21.80 and free shipping. WOW. I was surprised I got such a great deal :)

Thats great! for the scratch paper and price of the book lol

And i finally resolved all of my evaluation issues *phew*

So that finally did your transcript eval??

No, I completely misread the information so I did not even need one at all! I felt really dumb. Lol, but it's okay, one less thing to worry about and one more thing to cross off my list.

Well at least it is one more thing to cross off. We just need to ACE the HESI!

I think that's what we are ALL hoping for, lol. Have you scheduled your testing date yet or has anyone else? Im scheduled to take mine on the 29th of Sept, so I have exactly 2 months to prepare for it which I hope is long enough.

I still need to get my shots complete too, my last round of Hep B. is due in November, and I need two shots of varicella since i've never had the chicken pox. After I finish my Hep. B. rounds, since its after the application deadline, do I just send in an updated shot record to the nursing department?

Oh man, I still need to sch mine. Jeez, time is just flying by. I need to call and see what hours they are open for me to do that.

From what i remember seeing there are 3 testing times a week, 2 days a week, one day has 9am and 2pm testing time and the other day is 9 am testing time only.

Im not sure on which days of the week though. Mine is scheduled on a thursday and the last day to take it is that following friday.

Lol, well I was wondering about those times also, but what I mean is I need to call and see what hours the business office and testing center are open to sch the test. They are closed today :(

I'm interested in weatherford college lvn program, does anyone have advice for a college newbie? I don't fully understand the point system and not sure where to start.

Specializes in Oncology.

I THINK the vaccines are actually due after you are accepted to the program, but it's definitely good to get them as soon as possible since some come in a series.

Okay guys, so I just looked at the study guide for the sections of the HESI that we are supposed to take. The practice questions are WAY too easy, especially since I just got done taking the TEAS V. It's all elementary stuff. I'm a little skeptical. Has anyone taken the HESI? I don't want to get in there and be shocked.
