@Dreamer - THANK YOU!! What a big help that was. Sorry I didn't post yesterday but I was reading all of that while driving to and from Oklahoma. :-)
Can we buy our patches yet? I remember reading on Fall's board that there were varying shades of teal and I'd like to have it as close as possible. :-)

Yes, you can buy your patches now. The TR bookstore is pretty good about keeping large quantities in stock (you will need to ask for them at the check-out counter as they keep them locked up behind the registers). I purchased Urbane brand scrub pants (SUPER comfortable), and the teal is a pretty close match. Don't worry about the patches being an exact match to the pants -- go with what is most comfortable for you. You are going to be in these scrubs a lot over the next two years. Besides, the patch is on your arm and the scrub bottoms are on your legs... no one will be able to tell if they are a shade or two off.

Yes, I called TR bookstore on Friday and they have plenty and they are $4.95 each. I went by there after work but forgot they closed at 5 on Friday. . They stay open until 7 mon - thur

I just bought 2 pairs of Cherokee scrub pants for 40% off! what a steal!! :) strangely they didn't have any plain white scrub tops..lol.

Where did you find pants?? I want to go ahead and buy some since I'll have to buy talls and have them hemmed. Regular are like ankle pants on me LOL.

L O L ankle pants... I bought regular flare style and they are still long on me so I need to get mine hemmed up, but I'm only 5'3" lol.

I went to scrubs etc. off 183 & precinct next to the target. they also had littman stethoscopes for 15% off but I didn't buy one since I'm ordering it tomorrow. they had tons of scrubs in.a variety of brands all 10-25% off. I'm not sure how long the sale lasts though. I really liked the Dickies brand scrub bottoms. The fabric is much thicker and their shade of teal is VERY close to Cherokee just a little more vibrant, they were 25% off but I couldn't find my size. boo hoo !

I'm going to be shopping around this week, ill let you guys know if I find anymore sales on stuff we might need/want.

Yeahhhh I'm 5'7" but I have really long legs so it's hard to find pants! LOL I looked on the website for Littmann and they have a Caribbean Blue steth that looks teal - is that their "teal"? That's what I'm going to get. Also the same for Cherokee pants, all I saw was Caribbean blue. I hate ordering stuff like that online, I just need to actually see it.

cherokee teal is called "real teal" and they tons if tall sizes at their store in all brands. the littman carribean blue is nice and close to teal. I think they do have those colors at the store also you just have to ask. I was thinking about getting.that color or raspberry.

I have the Littmann Classic II SE and I LOVE it! I ordered it in purple, but it is a very deep purple that actually looks royal blue in the wrong kind of light. I would've gotten a teal steth if I had known the purple was going to be so dark. Oh well. I still love it!

I checked a couple different sites and I'm going with Medisave as well - it's the least expensive. I am going to order the Littmann II Light in Caribbean Blue.

I'm also going to order the Dansko clogs in solid white. They'll be the most expensive purchase but well worth it with as much time as we'll be on our feet.

During the winter I can wear long sleeve white undershirts, but I've got to figure out how to hide my tattoos on my wrists otherwise - they're too big for Bandaids so I wonder what they'll have me do. Also I need to get a clear nose stud. My husband bought me stud earrings and a solid wedding band for my birthday so I don't have to worry about wearing my jewelry. I noticed how about 3 pages of our handbook are about attire so I'm trying to stick to it as much as possible. LOL
