ajkstief!!! You're so close!......You have solid GPA and HESI scores....I'm thinking you're on the top of the alternate list with those scores. And even if not, give it another shot in January and we'll see you on campus next fall. (Please excuse my use of a conjunction to start that last sentence. DARN YOU HESI STUDY GUIDE!!)

Thank you! I am hoping to be an alternate. I just wish I hadn't bombed my vocab portion with a low 80 and the rest in the 90's averaging the 90 on the hesi. Could have, should have, would have........ continue to go through my head :banghead: uugh I will post once I know something for sure.

I am still living/experiencing through you guys and keeping up with all of your posts! Excited for you!! :yeah:

I thought we had to get special badges made for clinicals? I guess I was wrong lol. I'm trying to get all my stuff together so I can be ready.

even though most of know we have made it, I'm still nervous for ajkstief and manow! I Just want all of us to get in so we can all.breathe that heavy sigh of relief!!

the only.thing that sort of sucks is that I noticed there are only 3 days with afternoon clinicals at NHH and PMC both of which are not.too far of a drive for me. so hopefully it will work out for the both of us, if not, there will be someone willing to trade.

I have a question. Where do we go to get the complete background check. According to the checklist. It is GroupOne. Do we have to come to GroupOne office and do it? or Can we do the background check online?

txhusker - I look all over the website, but I could not find any information about register for account and service. Do I have to call them directly?

Nevermind...I found it. By the way, can we do the back ground check right now and turn it in later or we wait for the paper work come from the mail?

I think they send it directly to the school anyway. I plan to get mine done this up coming week.

txhusker - you might want to wait for it or call the nursing department for sure because I just check it and the address is complete wrong. GroupOne still list the nursing department address in south campus.

I think we need to call the nursing department before we do anything.

@Dreamer - THANK YOU!! What a big help that was. Sorry I didn't post yesterday but I was reading all of that while driving to and from Oklahoma. :-)

Can we buy our patches yet? I remember reading on Fall's board that there were varying shades of teal and I'd like to have it as close as possible. :-)

I think I'm gonna call the TR bookstore tomorrow and see if they have them. but I read that the Cherokee brand in real teal is a pretty close match, if not exact.

I wear teal for work already, and it's true that there are so many shades of teal and it's not the easiest color to find. I agree that Cherokee is a great match though. Landau also makes a teal that is good. Cherokee are more comfy to me though.
