I don't know who all it is but there are 8 people for TCC ahead of me for drug tests. LOL We are on top of things y'all! She said there would be a little bit of a wait so if you're coming today just FYI. :-) Two more weeks and we'll finally be starting classes!!

Ok I started looking at all the Refrence books today. I am having a hard time choosing which Nursing Care Plan book and Drug Guide. Let me know what you go or are getting so maybe that will help me make a decision. Thanks and OMG!! don't buy form the TCC bookstore the price is almost double what it is on Amazon.

-ive flipped through it a few times, looks like it will do the job!, i posted links to the following reference books im going to be purchasing and/or have above this post.

i was going to post the same thing about the bookstore! i went to pick up the cid's & my goodness! if anyone bought the kozier book by itself like me, do not buy the access code from the bookstore, it costs 20$ more than buying to directly from the publisher! ridiculous!! if you guys have your id cards and do not have them punched for the badge pulls yet, i have a few extra sleeves you can put them in if anyone wants one. they charge like 2 bucks for them at the bookstore.

ive started me reading for foundations [theory], its exciting! for 1600 + pages, the book isn't as thick as i thought it would be, but the font is sort of small... lol

I'm going to avoid the bookstore where possible, BUT use my giftcard to buy CIDs and such (and my books for my ASL class) because it's less money out of pocket for me in the end. Have they posted what books are needed for the pharm CEU yet? I haven't even looked on WA lately.

I had my drug test done around 9am and I barely had to wait. I was told that they will not send the results until ALL the students get theirs done The lady also mentioned that if some people are taking meds it will take even longer! I will start studying tonigh, woo hoo! I am done with everything else, just waiting for registration...

I realllllly hope they don't wait until Friday/Monday to send those in. Getting my FA is dependent on actually registering. :-/

It doesn't make sense to me why they have to wait for everyone. I had a drug test done at the same place before and it was sent to the school pretty quick... The good thing is that the people at nursing program seemed to be really good at working with the students. So I don't think you'll have any problems :)
