I'm so excited I can hardly wait!! though I probably wont be saying that when I'm about ready to pull my hair out lol! now if I can only get my Christmas shopping done so I can buy my *******' textbooks!! I can't wait to read and absorb all the new knowledge and material!

for spring break I think I'm going back to Disney world... my fiance says I'm worse than.those Japanese tourists, I'm such a kid at heart!!

Has anybody received emails that are talking about a pharmacology class offered that is free and useful. I have talked to someone that is not on this site but is in our program that received these emails but I did not. was just wanting to know more info on it and who its for and if everyone else got it but me. just curious. thanks

doodlebug- yeah I got that email today. I thought it would have been a mass email? its a CE class for pharm. for nursing. he said that if we are interested we should email him and let him know. but we have to attend everyday or else he wont let you register for.the course and its limited seating..

Its Fridays from 8a-10a..I wish my schedule would allow.me to take it!!!

doodlebug- yeah I got that email today. I thought it would have been a mass email? its a CE class for pharm. for nursing. he said that if we are interested we should email him and let him know. but we have to attend everyday or else he wont let you register for.the course and its limited seating..

every friday for the whole semester? aren't we taking pharm. during nursing school? what is the usefulness of this class just to prepare us or what?

According to the date on the last email it will be the whole semester. I think that having the extra knowledge wouldn't hurt, but since this is the first semester I will not register. Once I have a better idea of how nursing will be like, then I would register...

I really want to take it but with reg RN classes, husband, 4 kids in elementary and working 31 hours a week I don't want to take it my first semester either. I sent Mr. Ume an e-mail to see if he was planning on doing one next semester or over the summer.

doodlebug- I'm sure it was.just some small error, and some others may.not have received it as well. though he did email back saying thar he was going to move the class to a larger room since there are so many.people wanting to attend. but if he offers it in another semester, I will definitely be enrolling, the more you know, the better! :)

for those of You who are wanting to buy a day planner of some sort, target has tons of them in the dollar section to choose from. They are small enough to fit in your handbag but big enough to write in, plus its only a Buck so if it gets misplaced, it wouldn't be a big deal. Just thought I'd pass it along! :)

I am wanting to know the same thing. I looked on the nursing website and there is no course description for pharm. I thought that was odd. I thought for sure we had to take it. Does anyone know?? I know at WC pharm was part of the first semester courseload.

I don't think we are taking a pharm course but it is correlated with one of the other classes we are taking, so I think that is where we will learn it. the CE course seems to.be.more of a refresher course or maybe goes in to more depth?

TCC does not have a pharm class. It is integrated throughout the program. Mr. Ume has been kind enough to work it out with the school to let him teach this for free. Not sure if he will offer it again. I will be in adult next semester and I am taking this pharm class. I am not sure I would have taken it my first semester, but it is probably doable.
