I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.
I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.
I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.
I just called to check and see if they knew how many were going to be accepted and they aren't sure on the 100 anymore. Could be 100 or 130! Let's hope for the 130!!!

130 is SO much better!!!! I'm happy about that! :) Let's all hope.. and yes, stay on top of that mailbox because I don't get my mail until about 1pm everyday! (I stalked the mailman already to find that out! lol)
And orientation will be in August..... Long wait, but at least it will be an exciting wait as opposed to this stressful wait... At least we have less than a month now! Almost 2 weeks left only!

Someone who is in the PTA program told me today, that they are not moving into the new building until summer, maybe that's why we wont have orientation until August.
I am so excited!!!! I'm keeping my guess of April 25th, for them to be mailed. My mailman is always so late in the day. 130 would be so awsome, that would mean 30 more people getting their wish! I hope I will be one. I hope all of us on here will be one of the lucky ones.
Yes the reason for August orientation is because of the move. Glad to hear that the wait was shortened a bit. I remember being in your shoes 2 years ago. Now I am stalking my phone and inbox for job interviews.

That makes sense. I guess I was just shocked... I am eager to get my letter and attend Orientation to find out more about the program.

My friend that got in for fall 2010 also had her orientation in august.. So I don't think that's just cause of the move. I think they changed it last yr.
