I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.
I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.
I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.
I think that last week flew by. Come to think of it, these past three weeks haven't been too bad.
Sherri, we should find something out by the end of next week or the very beginning of April for WC. I like it how there is a break between the two schools, it makes it much more bearable.
I was thinking about it last night, I'm in no i hurry for nursing school to start in the fall (if I get accepted). I'm going to just enjoy my time off and be grateful that I can spend some quality time with my family before having no life at all for the next two years.
Possibly, only one month left of waiting. At least, that's what I'm hoping for.
I think I'll shoot for April 21st. Couple of years back, letters were hitting mail boxes April 12, last year it was May 1st. I think April 21st sounds good.
We should all choose a date and see who will be right, maybe it will make the time go by faster.
I had a dream two days ago that I was number 11 out of the 100 selected. I jumped up and down yelling and screaming only to realize that it was a dream. (I am really praying for a miracle because despite having a 4.0 overall GPA, my TEAS scores aren't great). How is everyone coping with the waiting and what is keeping you busy at least these past three weeks. I am currently taking three classes towards my BSN and that has been keeping me busy, but I've found myself thinking about the Letter when I am supposed to be studying for my other classes. I have been following these threads and I have found encouragement, support and strength to face each new day. Thank you everyone.
Yes Loly82. I just changed it. The other Screen name just wasn't me....lol. I felt like I was someone else.....ha ha ha!. I wish I knew how much weight the TEAS score carried cause it is driving me crazy. I had spoken to Bev sometime back about my TEAS score and she said that I shouldn't worry much about it, but what scares me is that there seems to be so many people with great GPAs and TEAS scores. I believe we will make it though.....:)
Thank you guys for welcoming me!! :) I am the opposite... good TEAS scores but my science GPA isn't the best. I went to Texas A&M and the science classes were really tuff. They did not let anyone breeze through. I am hoping the bonus points help me out! I applied to four schools so I am thinking & hoping at least one school will want me lol.
