Hello,
I'm applying to the fall nursing program in January. I'm super excited but I still have some unanswered questions. I tried calling the Nursing Dept at the South Campus and left a message but have not heard a response.
I'm trying to find out what teas version they are testing with in the spring for fall entry. I have read tons of threads from TCC for the past few semesters and it is nice to start a new one for nursing hopefuls like me.
I'm taking Micro in the fall and getting a math class knocked out for BSN. Anyway, hope to get some responses.
I'm so glad to have theory with a couple of you.
Does anyone know if you can use the payment plan system when registering for the nursing classes? I just want to be sure, since I am paying for this out of pocket, and will have my kids school costs at the same time.
I am excited to meet everyone. Let's pick a date.
Dreamer, same here. I am getting alerts on my phone about posts, but my PC shows nothing past 1239 and my phone won't go through to the posted threads either.....:-(
As you can see, I even edited my post yesterday just to see if it would let me, and it did. I still couldn't figure out why it wouldn't show other posts. I contacted an Admin last night and was told that the board had been having some hiccups, and they were working on getting it fixed. Looks like all is well in allnurses world today! Glad to be able to see everyone's posts again.
i posted this in the wc thread as they were talking about stethoscopes, but i figured i would share it here as well for those that are interested:
i've been shopping for a littmann classic ii se for a few weeks now, and have found that the best pricing can be found at www.medisave.net -- it's $69.99 and comes with free laser engraving on the head (most sites i've been to have them for $70-$80 + $14.95 for engraving).
just found a coupon code for www.medisave.net! add coupon code faceb11 for a 5% discount. it doesn't sound like much, but every little bit helps when it comes to buying things for nursing school!! (and also officially makes this site the cheapest i've found for stethoscopes)
Hey waiting! I'm glad you're in the hybrid course as well. I actually emailed the professor a few days ago and she let me know how the class actually works. She said the first 4 weeks or so, we go to class on campus. The next 4-5 weeks are all online. It sort of flip flops back and forth throughout the semester :)
