Taking NCLEX tomorrow

Hello all just chiming in to let everyone know that I will be taking the nclex tomorrow at 12pm. i haven't been here in awhile to post because I was studying. I've seen many people post that on the day before you test to just relax and not do any studying. I'll see how that goes for me.

I like ALL of the other people going to take their test really need to pass the first time! I'm tired of studying. I'm ready to have my life back and my family is ready to have their wife and mom back also. You guys know what I'm talking about. I don't even have a job lined up yet but I know that one will come, I just want to be able to not think about nursing school or studying or nclex anymore!

I have been praying, crying, studying, praying crying, studying for so long that I feel drained and am just ready to take it and get it done and over with. How do you know that you are ready? I figure that I am because I'm tired of studying. I do questions and am on a roll then take a break and start back only to do terribly then I freak out saying to myself "You're not ready"! Then I feel as if I'm going to have a panic attack. But i don't want to reschedule because I feel like I am ready. Wouldn't it be nice if there were a screening available for us to know that we will pass nclex for sure?

I was not able to afford the luxury of taking an nclex prep class so I've been using saunders, davis's q&a, lacharity, the tidbits from the nclex thread and I've taken the 3 week ncsbn online prep. I don't know what else I could possibly do to prepare myself.

Please say a prayer for me and I will chime in on my feelings on the test and the results (after I've done the PVT first of course) tomorrow.

Hi,

I too, go for it for the first, (and please, please God), the last time tomorrow at 10:15. I have the same feelings, I feel ready, I test, get a bunch right, then fail a bunch....not due to not knowing the material, (real world style) but because I interpreted the NCLEX style question/answers incorrectly. So, I have been really working on the "How to's" in the books.

Ready, not ready? I am convinced it is a crap shoot. Just praying my luck is on tomorrow!

Hope we all shut off at 75, get the GOOD pop-up, and the magnificent FINAL word, from our respective BON's!!

I pray you pass!i feel you on your family having their mom and wife back as i am praying to get this exam over with.This is my second attempt and i am not tired but praying for strength to continue studying.Goodluck!

(I have three children under 5 yrs, and just passed the NCLEX-RN on the

1st attempt about a week ago)....

You can do this super mom-nurse-RN to be!!!
