RN nclex reviews???
I used the Sauders and NCSBN.org learning extension. I felt the NCSBN website really helped me, and it's only $50 for three weeks. Give it a try

How many questions are there on the NCSBN Learning Extension 3-week course?
I highly recommend the site also. Ms, Tianah was accurate in her description of the course and I believe that the course was most helpful in the areas of prioritization and delegation. Good luck studying and I hope you take their course:yeah:

Nclex Exp & is PVT accurate?
I took my test last Friday, Sept. 3 and I believe that it definitely works. I did the trick as soon as I got home Friday morning and confirmed my passing results on Sunday. Congratulations!!!!

Concord Career Institute-North Hollywood CA LVN
Hello, I attended Concorde Career College - North Hollywood from 2000-2001. I recommend it if you are looking for an accelerated course. I had no problem finding a job once I got my license and I do feel that I learned the basics of nursing there. The only thing that I felt they could have improved was the classroom space and parking, other than that everything went smoothly. Good luck to you!!!

Just took NCLEX with no med calculations or alternative questions
@sarahmb, Thank you for your advice regarding the "PVT", I checked it one last time before I go to sleep tonight. Thankfully I still have the same result. I will keep everyone updated on how this turns out. Hopefully I will be able to access my quick result this Sunday even though it will be a holiday on Monday. Have a good weekend all!!!

Just took NCLEX with no med calculations or alternative questions
Hi Lisa380, I keep checking pearsonvue and it keeps giving me the same results so I am hopeful. Check it!!! It will really help your nerves. After that you will be relieved.... trust me. I left the test site feeling horrible, but after reading all the posts and trying the "PVT" I feel so much better. Good luck to you and I really wish you the best. I hate having to wait for the results, but then at least I have the quick results I can rely on. I hope you do also!!! Good luck!!!

I was also wondering about the PVT. I have attempted it and have gotten the "good pop-up". How many times can you do this before you are no longer allowed to keep checking? Also has anyone's "pop-up" ever changed?

Anyone taken an OB HESI?
I have to agree with itsmejuli. The first time I ever took HESI was the OB HESI and I did not do well. Luckily we were given three chances to take the HESI in order to move on to the next semester. I didn't need a third chance but I really feel that doing multiple NCLEX style questions really helped me. I do own the Saunders book, but I feel that for HESI studying from the Mosby's question bank was more effective. I found that after doing multiple questions from that Q&A bank, the HESI questions seemed similar. Good luck on the HESI!!! Just took my NCLEX RN today so I hope all the HESI's we took in school prepared me :)

Just took NCLEX with no med calculations or alternative questions
Hello LauRN, Thank you so much for your response. I'm really glad that there is someone out there who has been in my situation and has passed. I know this sounds crazy but I felt like the computer should have given me more questions. I will try my best to have a good weekend and hopefully my results will be up by Sunday. Have an awesome Labor day!!!

Just took NCLEX with no med calculations or alternative questions
Hello surfingnurse12, I too am an LPN, but when I took my boards I had the max questions. That's why I feel so nervous now. My pointer would be to practice SATA questions. I did not have to identify sounds but as far as I know those are experimental questions at this time. I really can not tell you which meds to focus on because I can not recall the test for some reason. It all just happened so fast. Good luck on the 8th. Study well

Just took NCLEX with no med calculations or alternative questions
Hello Everyone!!! I just finished taking the NCLEX 2 hours ago and am really nervous. I was wondering if anyone has passed the NCLEX without any of the hot-spot questions, drag-drop questions, and even med calculations. The computer shut off for me at 75 with a majority of questions being SATA and delegation. I feel really discouraged because I did not receive any of those questions and maybe I was doing poorly on the SATA so the computer would not allow me to move on? I did get endless medication questions on the test though, medications that I had to guess on. Thank you for taking the time to read this, any input would be greatly appreciated
