Taking NCLEX-RN tomorrow morning!!!!!!! YIKES!

I only recently found allnurses.com and I am so glad that I did. Reading all of the posts here regarding the NCLEX has been very informative, inspirational and at times just down right funny! Every time I am feeling overwhelmed I take a break and read some of the posts. It is a great tension breaker for me. I am taking the NCLEX tomorrow at 8am. I do not feel ready, but am locked in at this point. I have studied and answered questions from exam cram, saunders, NCLEX 4000 and Kaplan. Every time I take a test I see more drugs I don't know and more diseases I have never heard of! I am TERRIFIED!!!!!

So, please a prayer for me to whatever higher power you put your faith in! I am so nervous and scared!!!!! :cry: I should have studied more... or listened more.... or been born a genius..... or had a brain transplant!!!!

I have been an LPN for 10 years, and am taking the NCLEX-RN in the morning. I should admit that I have rescheduled it 3 times already. I don't feel like I know enough and would love to reschedule it again...but my ATT is about to expire....lol. I ask for you all to pray for me or ask for a miracle, that I might have the ability to recall the things that have been pounded into my overcrowded brain over the last 4 years, and I will do the same for you.

I will keep you in my prayers tonight while I am praying for myself to pass the NCLEX PN tomorrow also I will also send good vibes your way. Just believe that you can do it. You took the NCLEX PN you can do this. Keep us posted.:)

Good luck on taking your NCLEX-RN tomorrow. Just remember that every Nurse and every Doctor..hm.. well any professional you've seen out there has gone through the same heightened stress levels prior to taking their final step in obtaining their future. It's all normal, like me for example I've already stocked up on antacids, anti-diarrheals and every stomach or gas suppressant out there ... I crumble like a crusty piece of bread when its test taking time. Just make sure you get enough sleep for your big day! congrats iweatherby, well done. it was all worth it, wasn't it? well, for those waiting to sit in the "hot seat" my exam was loaded with infection control and safety precautions (know the difference between the precautions including the barrier precaution for each. i believe saunders ch. 16 covers it. [airborne, droplet, contact], e.g. measels, varicella, tb are all airborne. i also had a lot of immunizations (which i believe falls under infection control), endocrine and of course medications. i passed and am very happy. would never want to go through this again (waiting for the results) even though in the end it was well worth it. good luck to one and all, i wish you all the best. althea.

Well, I took my test yesterday. I arrived at the testing center at 8:00 am and was on my way out of the parking lot at 9:00 am. I had 75 questions. I am still waiting for my name on the BON website. According to the PVT I should have passed, so I hope it's right. Thanks to everyone for thoughts and prayers :saint:. I will let you know the outcome for sure as soon as I know.

Took my yesterday at 3:00 pm. had 85 questions. Came home and did the trick and got the pop up still waiting to be able to do quick results or for name to appear on th BON website, which ever comes first. Will post as soon as I get my results. Thanks for all those that prayed for me and helped me through my studying. Good Luck to all those who are waiting for results or who are waiting to test.
