Taking AANP second time 2016

I am getting really nervous about taking this exam again. I took the AANP FNP in late January 2016 and didn't pass by just a few points. I'm buckling down, following all the great advice on this site. But I'd like to know if the second exam has repeat items or is a totally different test - I made a great study guide after the first exam so I'm studying from that too. So if anyone has taken the exam for the second time (their first one taken in 2016), please reach out and let me know your thoughts!

Well I decided after fully preparing to take the AANP FNP exam a second time to take the ANCC FNP exam (for the first time) instead. I had collected such an excellent study guide for each test, that I was really prepared for both exams. Well, I crushed the ANCC FNP exam and passed. These tests were pretty darn hard and the stress levels are super high, I know how that feels.

Good luck to everyone.

hello,

I am about to take AANP. Congrats on passing.

Hi! I recently took AANP and did not pass. This is very heartbreaking. I plan on applying to AANP and ANCC. [email protected]

Hi DRANGER21! I'm sorry to hear about you not passing. I din't pass it the first time I took it. I am in the process of waiting to get my time to test. Meanwhile, I recently graduated from my MSN program and have been studying since I failed back in July. This time, we will knock this test out the park. Good luck to you.

hello,

I will be sitting for my ANCC exam here in a few short months. Do you think you could email me your study guide? It sounds wonderful. I would be able to update it to current materials fairly easily I suspect.

I really appreciate it,

Carey
