  1. I am currently trying to work out a collaborative agreement with the physician that will be overseeing my practice. I currently work in the state of Mississippi and have reviewed their practice laws. I am trying to find out if you have to practice the same way your physician does. For instance, if my physician was a MD in Urology, do I have to only practice with Urology type patients? I can not find anything clarifying this on my states practice laws. Does anyone else here maybe practice under a physician that preforms different patient care? Thanks
  2. I am a recent graduate of Walden's FNP program. I don't have anything to compare the program to because I only know people who have graduated from this university. It is pretty much self propelled and you get what you put in it. I took my boards on December 13th and passed. I am currently working as an Orthopedic NP.
  3. jl76RN... I know this is an old post, but I am looking for some information on Walden and the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. I recently graduated from Walden with my APRN degree and have accepted a job in the State of Louisiana. I know that Walden does not accept students from Walden but will the State Board of Nursing not grant you an APRN license to practice in their state if you graduated from Walden?
  4. Hi willdoit2! Don't get discouraged. You are allowed to take the AANP twice a calendar year. After you take the test and fail all you have to do is get 15 cue's then reapply for the exam. Shouldn't take more than a week or two to have you approved to test again!
  5. Thank you for your information!
  6. Did you ever get a response to this question? I am wondering the same thing!
  7. urbanrn328, BSN, MSN, NP I was browsing this forum to find help studying for my upcoming AANP certification and see where you say you have excellent notes to share! Would you mind sharing them with me? :) It would be greatly appreciated!! [email protected]
  8. I will be sitting for the exam in August 2016. [email protected]
