Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Okay I'm taking A& P 1 this fall - who else?? I'm nevous anyone else??? ONly taking one other class this fall besides this one. Hoping that isn't too much. Study groups anyone??:bowingpur

Count me in!!! I am taking A&P I this fall as well. I am so nervous about it but determined to make an A! I would love to have a study group on here since I know I will need all the help I can get! LOL!

I carried around a realistic Halloween skeleton to practice bones with ($15 from Big Lots).

I love this!! What a great idea! I think I might be hunting down a realistic Halloween skeleton so I can do the same. Can you imagine the looks I will get driving down the road with a skeleton strapped in to the seat next to me? HAHAHAHA!!!!!

Kyla.ann, Let me know where you find one. I need one as well.

Check out this site, They seem to have some pretty neat things for fairly inexpensive.

I would not recommend you to take the micro online. I just got my A.S. in biology and I took micro last fall. I studied soooo hard and passed with 97 (A+). However, u should be in class to do that. It is a very important class for nursing. U better reconsider your decision.

I also got pre-calculus online, it wasn't a good idea. People! Do not ever take a math class online. I passed with an A but had to study the whole book by myself.

Count me in too! I'm only taking Psych over the summer so I have a little more free time to study A&P before Fall quarter. I want to get a head start, at least understand the basics. Luckily, my mom's an RN so I'll have help when I really need it. :) Can't wait, all I need to get out of the way is A&P and Psych and then I can apply for NS spring 2010!

I'm taking A&P 1 this fall too. I would love to find a study group. If someone starts one up, please let me know. :) Good Luck to everyone!!

i'm also taking anatomy w/lab & psychology in the fall... i registered for anatomy w/lab this summer semester and dropped the class... i know i'll need the extra 4 weeks during the fall semester! i've decided to get my cna while i'm waiting for fall semester to start (a prerequisite for most schools here...)

in the meantime i'm reading ahead, studying my flash cards (netter), and following the uc berkeley anatomy lectures on youtube (39 total)... here is the playlist if anyone is interested:

count me in for a study group this fall :specs:

Count me In for an online Study Group!! I think A&P will be a breeze after taking Medical Terminology.. I will also be taking Microbiology, English, and Art Appreciation.

I am along with English, psychology, sociology, history and a freshman advisement seminar. I have a total of 17 credits that I'm taking.

I am also taking A&P I this fall, including Microbiology(online)-oncampus lab. and Beginning Algebra (online). I think it may be a bit much with a full-time job, being a single parent of 2. I figured I have been through worst. I am going to Remain focus, organized, and study my butt off! It will only get harder in Nursing school; therefore, I am preparing myself--BUILT FORD TOUGH! as you can see I motivate myself. :0).

Have anyone ever took a online Science class? Give me your thoughts.....

I am ready and willing to start a study group for A & P I. I am sure I will need it. Let me know..

I picked my instructor based on a detailed list of demands and ratemyprofessor.com... lol...

Anywho, Good Luck and let me know what you think.....

I am preparing myself to apply to TCC Nursing Program Fall 2010.

I am applying to TCC's Nursing program Fall 2010 as well!!! I am also applying to Highline and Pierce's. I am taking my pre-req's at Green River b/c it's close to where I live. I am taking AP 1 (my second time around, I took it 2 years ago and did awful, but I wasn't deticated to school like I am now), Chem 121 and English 101 (online...also a repeat...had a bad instructor and didn't do well, but go ta 4.0 in all my other writing classes)...I also work 25+ hours/week so I am scared...but I think we can ALL do it!! I am down for a study group!!!

these anatomy labeling exercises are a fun way to learn & study... the links below will lead you to more links that cover the 11 organ systems... you "click & drag" the correct names to the different parts of the body, enjoy :)
