Survived nclex exam 2013!!!

hi! everyone i took it this morning May 09, 2013 around 8am with max. # of questions:no::banghead::eek:..lots of SATA, DRAG-n-drop, fill in the blanks questions, tons of them and i even lost track after counting at 30.:yawn::confused::arghh: then here comes meds which I have never heard of...:nailbiting::lurking::no:After the exam I was in complete limbo, :blink:shocked that I survived nclex, finally its done dealt...:down:so anyways I rushed home and cried,:cry: :scrying::crying2:then checked out the PV trick and got the good pop up. :yeah::up:hope the trick is accurate because from what i seen it leads me to this message saying"CONTACT YOUR MEMBER BOARD" following the treads/blogs here in all nurses it simply tells u that its an indication that you pass. wohoooo! PASS...yes...!:roflmao::yes:(4hrs with 205 questions in front of the computer , let me tell you it was tough!!!) now i can't wait to get the result in the mail, it'll probably take me weeks since i took it in Cali...for those who are about to take the exam just keep a positive mind that you can do it, with lots of prayers, family's support, allnurses blogs from this site and kaplan thank you!!!:cool:

i studied for good 2 weeks...i'm a major procrastinator too and i have 2 younger kids so there were days that i skipped on studying to give time for my family...:yes: what helped me the most was KAPLAN pure KAPLAN i finished 1000 qbank, listen to the video on demand and just going over the test questions and rationale...for the content i had the SAUNDERS (yellow book) nclex-RN which i just brushed up on the calculation part of the text because MATH is my downfall!!! i didn't really use a lot of book bec. it just made me anxious!!! :confused:so i say just FOCUS on one study material and really do your best understanding the areas you need on catching up, :yes:after that i PRAYED and believed in myself that i will be a nurse just like everyone else's dream!!!

Congratulations on passing the exam! :up: ... I am getting anxious as days pass waiting for my ATT to arrive in my mailbox :cry: I am still studying, I dont have a routine study. But I do study I hope its enough and I am hoping I will finish my saunders book before my ATT arrives in the mailbox. I dont want to cram.. I honestly want to finish this book sincerely because there are alot of things I did regret when I took my nclex RN and failed, lets just say I didnt study well when I am supposed to ,now I am taking the nclex LPN my chance of getting a license coz I cant take RN again because , its a case of foreign students like me that BON wants me to go back to school to take my deficiencies..

I hope I will pass my nclex too like you.

Yeah you can do it.. I know this is very normal thingy to all of you guys but I'm getting nervous cause my nclex PN date is coming nearer.. I been out for school for almost 4years and I don't know if I'm doing good to my self review.

I used exam cram 3rd edition (latest) when I try to answer it from the very first time I got 50% over 100 items then now. Then now after cover to cover reading of it I'm getting 80-90% consistently.

i also used kaplan 2013-2014 strategies. I read it cover cover few weeks ago and answer the questions got 50% of it. I try some kapaln Q bank in my iPhone but its nclex RN I'm getting 60+% of it. I'm planning to reread this book this week.

i'm also using saunders 5th edition (latest,the red one) I'm not finish yet reading it but when do the online evolve PN practice I got 66% in the pretest and do some practice test by category with different thpes of questions and getting 60-70%

I just got my ATT for NCLEX, via email, day before yesterday, May 10th!!!!! We graduated May 8th. I Already scheduled a test date!!!!!!

Our school made us submit everything we could early so that my program director would only have to electronically submit verification of our graduation @ 1200, the day if our May 9th graduation!!!
