i feel you...i also failed mines but that doesn't define on you as a failure. maybe you are going trough a lot that your focus is not met. anyways my sister just took it on sept, 16th 2014 and passed the first time. so if she can do it im sure all of us can, btw she just did saunders book for the content and paid the nclex questions that you will find on your phone apps. goodluck to all of us!

I live in cali and wanted to get license in texas, would they allow me to take the nclex-rn even if im from california? please help! ]Hi! im from cali and would like to apply in texas, can i be granted with ATT even if my state of residence is california? pls. Help i did my ces, finger printing and im afraid if i send my application it will be denied bec. I dont live in texas.

meds is meds nclex like to give the very uncommon ones, the study guide helped me but the ones i got i guessed bec. to be honest i never even remember if i learned it in nursing school...anyways just focus on your content and do qbanks it works!

i finished the 1,000 + qbank from kaplan in 2 weeks time. i scored 62% on the readiness test...

yes! the PVT is true got my result in the mail monday the 20th of may.... it's official i'm a nurse!!!

i studied for good 2 weeks...i'm a major procrastinator too and i have 2 younger kids so there were days that i skipped on studying to give time for my family... what helped me the most was KAPLAN pure KAPLAN i finished 1000 qbank, listen to the video on demand and just going over the test questions and rationale...for the content i had the SAUNDERS (yellow book) nclex-RN which i just brushed up on the calculation part of the text because MATH is my downfall!!! i didn't really use a lot of book bec. it just made me anxious!!! :confused:so i say just FOCUS on one study material and really do your best understanding the areas you need on catching up, :yes:after that i PRAYED and believed in myself that i will be a nurse just like everyone else's dream!!! oh and lastly check this one i have read it and printed 3 days before i took my exam: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3379554/-nclex-study-guide.pdf goodluck! i'm sure your next...

Congrat's! i also graduated march of 2012 but had issues with the california board of nursing since i'm also a foreign grad from the philippines...i took the PN yesterday and got a good pop up so btw which state did you take your boards need help on what state to apply. thanks!!!

hi! everyone i took it this morning May 09, 2013 around 8am with max. # of questions:no:..lots of SATA, DRAG-n-drop, fill in the blanks questions, tons of them and i even lost track after counting at 30. then here comes meds which I have never heard of...:no:After the exam I was in complete limbo, :blink:shocked that I survived nclex, finally its done dealt...:down:so anyways I rushed home and cried, :crying2:then checked out the PV trick and got the good pop up. :up:hope the trick is accurate because from what i seen it leads me to this message saying"CONTACT YOUR MEMBER BOARD" following the treads/blogs here in all nurses it simply tells u that its an indication that you pass. wohoooo! PASS...yes...!(4hrs with 205 questions in front of the computer , let me tell you it was tough!!!) now i can't wait to get the result in the mail, it'll probably take me weeks since i took it in Cali...for those who are about to take the exam just keep a positive mind that you can do it, with lots of prayers, family's support, allnurses blogs from this site and kaplan thank you!!!
