i'm taking a sociology class and have a group paper to write. our topic is to analyze pay differences between male and female rns. i know income is a personal topic but if you’re willing to help me out i would appreciate your response. i know there are lots of factors that will influence pay but we're trying to keep it basic at this point...so if you have the time, i really need responses from some of the men out there. thank you!!
i need: rn's with associate or bachelors degrees must work in a hospital.
here are the questions:
1. how long (years) have you been a nurse?
2. what is your annual gross income?
less than 30k, 30-40k, 40-50k, 50-60k, 60-70k, greater than 70k
3. do you have an associate or bachelors degree?
4. how long have you worked for your present employer (seniority)?
5. on average how many hours do you work weekly?
6. do you work during the week, over the weekend, both?
7. what is your gender?

a: we are required to do every third weekend. so yes, i work weekdays as well as weekends.

don't know if the stats of an overseas nurse will help, but thought i'd be as well throwing some info your way, hope it helps.

37.5 contracted, extra shifts can be optional
day shift, nightshift, weekdays, weekends, we do em all!

40-50K...with shift diff.

2.5 years as CNA...now RN...almost 3 total

36 on clock...37.5 counting lunch.
