Starting the thread for those anxious applicants trying to get a read on this year's pool of candidates...

So who is willing to post what they've scored?

Here's mine:

A&P 1: A

A&P 2: B+

Eng 1: A

Eng 2: B+

Micro: ___

Psych: A

Stats: C- (blah!)

TEAS: 78

Not particularly found of the revision to the rubric.

So what are you holding???

Specializes in L&D, ED, Lab.

I posted my acceptance to Adelphi letter and accompanying 16k scholarship letter next to my Suffolk Denial letter.... I feel your pain

I just applied for fall at NCC actually! I'm moving to Suffolk soon though so hopefully I'll either get accepted at Nassau before that happens or I just wait and reapply at Suffolk once I'm a resident.

They let you apply for fall 18 already?

They let you apply for fall 18 already?

Yep! Fall '18 just opened and I already applied and got my student application tracking ID!

Im a Suffolk resident and was denied, got an 80 on my TEAS and my pre reqs were : AP1 - B+, AP2- B, Stats - A, Intro Lit - A , currently taking Micro. My total rubric points are 75.75. Ehh I am going to apply again to SCCC, and Stony Brook . I really thought placing advanced in TEAS would have been the winning ticket í ½í¸©

I just got my denial letter, I had a 84 on my teas, ap1-B ap2-A micro-A Stats- B+ Pys-A eng101-c and eng102-B I'm from Commack. I thought i was a good candidate, I dont want to assume but I feel there something unethical going on with the admission process. I'm not that upset cause i didn't put all my eggs in one basket.

That's insane! I thought those scores were definites...unless lots of applicants scored higher? I agree. I don't think they do what they say re decisions either...

Someone just posted that she's from Commack and got an 84 on the TEAS and WASNT accepted....:(

I'm looking to go to Eastern Suffolk Boces as well for LPN. Did you take the prep course for the exam or did you study by yourself? Do you still have your books?

I heard from multiple people that they thought the prep course was kind of a waste of money. I have the books and also there are LOTS of great videos on YouTube. When I found a math problem I struggled with I'd go to YouTube and watch an instructional video. Also Mometrix is on YouTube and they have TEAS prep videos. Good luck !!

If you are talking about the four class TEAS prep course offered at the college I took it last year. I went to the first two classes and did not find them helpful so I did not go back. As Kerry noted there are plenty of free resources out there to help you along.

Just took my TEAS test today. Got an even 90%. According to the scoring rubric for admissions, I'd have an 83/100... is this good? The only prereq I'm missing is Micro, everything else took and have As and two B+. Applied for both Grant and Ammerman 2018 Programs. Is your acceptance is based purely on your admissions rubric?

I'm applying for fall 2018 RN program day at Suffolk or Grant. I just took the TEAs today and only scored a 72.0.

I also have prereqs....

AP1 - A

AP2 - A

Micro -

Stats B+

Eng101 - B

Eng102 - B

I don't think I have a good chance of getting in.. My rubric score is only about a 45/100 :(
