  1. If you are talking about the four class TEAS prep course offered at the college I took it last year. I went to the first two classes and did not find them helpful so I did not go back. As Kerry noted there are plenty of free resources out there to help you along.
  2. Kshahgholi-I posted my strategies on two other threads on this forum. Easy enough to track down. A & P 1 over the summer will be daunting. I wish you the best of luck! P.S. SCCC offers a TEAS review class-four sessions for 100 dollars. I went to the first two and decided to skip the others. I did not find it helpful. But ask around and see what others think.
  3. I am in as well. Very nervous opening that letter! Good luck to all.
  4. Sorry to hear that! Thank you for the update. I have my fingers crossed.
  5. Is the rubric score written down anywhere? I worked out mine myself based on TEAS and grades. I am assuming my calculations are correct but would like to see it official.
  6. Mine was 79. Waiting for the reply from Nursing First as well.
  7. Hello-one attempt. 92 overall score. 100 math, 83 science, 87.5 English, 93.6 reading. I met with English and chemistry tutors at my college. The English tutor was great at explaining some of the more arcane rules of language. I used the Mometrex and Mc Graw Hill books primarily-the ATI book not as much. Also found some SAT and ACT review books figuring that they were harder than TEAS. For anatomy/science I had A&P one just about finished around the time of the test so that was still fresh in my mind. I watched you tube videos for some of the topics I was weak on. It was about three weeks of hard core studying from start to finish. Not sure where you are in your studies but I tell people don't even think about taking this test unless you took A&P one and did fairly well. Good luck!
  8. I took the TEAS in December and did well. Are you enrolled in a college? My school had free tutoring available for several subjects. I met with a Chemistry and English tutor with very specific questions. That helped quite a bit. Also used the Mometrix TEAS secrets book and McGraw Hills practice test books. I bought the ATI book but did not use it as much as the others. Finally I got my hands on SAT and ACT review books to really sharpen my language and math skills. Those tests are harder than the TEAS at least in my view. For Anatomy I was almost done with A and P one so that was fresh in my head. I knew some of the AP two topics well but others not at all. As expected that was my weakest category. If I had AP two under my belt at the time I might have gotten a few more questions right but I think it would only have added a point or two to my overall score. Try watching Professor Fink videos on youtube if there is an AP topic you would like to review in detail. Good luck!
  9. Just stumbled onto this site and thread. I will be starting Grant day program in the fall. I look forward to meeting you all!
