Starting the thread for those anxious applicants trying to get a read on this year's pool of candidates...
So who is willing to post what they've scored?
Here's mine:
A&P 1: A
A&P 2: B+
Eng 1: A
Eng 2: B+
Micro: ___
Psych: A
Stats: C- (blah!)
TEAS: 78
Not particularly found of the revision to the rubric.
So what are you holding???
@chrstec ... I just got my denial letter today as well. I agree with you on them looking at other components. I got an 80 (Advanced) on the TEAs, just as you, and have all of the prereqs except the Biomedical Ethics on the rubric (only worth .25 points). I saw a couple people got in with good grades, but just 'Proficient' on the TEAs, so I'm starting to think the 'rubric' is not as important as they say.
Do you live in Suffolk County? I live in Nassau County, so I figured they give first choice to Suffolk County residents... and guess what? I was thinking of just applying again for the Fall 2018 semester, and it says, "Note: Students applying for Nursing, Practical Nursing, Physical Therapy Asst., or Occupational Therapy Asst. should be aware that Suffolk County residents are given preference." That could be why I didn't get in. I'm going to meet with them, and see if it's even worth applying again.
So it looks like all the denials came in today. I received a denial also. My teas was 74.8 so it was expected. And as far as Adelphi being expensive, it definitely is but they gave me a scholarship and I also get tuition reimbursement through work. I honestly cannot believe how hard it is to get into suffolk.
I would apply again in the fall and see what happens. I'm shocked an 82 and all A's didn't get you in. I would definitely appeal it too. Also, some people may decide not to do the program and once the deposit deadline passes, maybe you can still get in? It makes no sense to me...I'm so sorry
