  1. Congrats to everyone! I'm still in shock, but I got accepted for second semester, day program. I've been denied many of times from different schools... this is my 3rd or 4th time applying at just Nassau alone. I've been on this forum for every admission cycle in the last couple of years, watching as people were getting accepted while I got denied. I almost lost hope, and was seriously thinking of moving on from Nursing (what I wanted to do almost my entire life). All of this to say, If you didn't get in and Nassau is your first choice or Nursing is your first choice, don't give up. Keep pushing, and you will get there.
  2. @Sam- I'm so sorry to hear that, you were so close.
  3. @IngridAB It makes sense... I think I have 131pts, that Medical Micro I'm missing would've put me above 140. Thanks for the info. and Congrats again.
  4. I just called, and was told that I met all of the requirements but I did not get in this pool. To give some of you guys who haven't received anything some idea, I know my points are in the low 130's. I am a NCC alumni, and while I was there Biomedical Ethics was not a requirement. Medical Micro was also not a requirement, just regular Microbiology. So I was hoping I would get in without having to take Medical Micro until I was actually in the program during a summer session or something. I'm 100% sure now, they would rather you have all prerequisites done. I'm going to take Medical Micro, and try again for the following semester, hoping that not much changes. I will probably have to retake the TEAs as well. Congrats to all who got in this pool, goodluck to those still waiting, and if you didn't get in this time, keep trying.
  5. @IngridAB... what was your breakdown, if you don't mind me asking. I probably just missed it because I have 131.5 points or 133 depending on what English Composition they used.
  6. Nothing yet for me either. I may call them tomorrow.
  7. 131.5... could possibly be a few points more depending on which composition class they accept from a previous school.
  8. Well, I applied through admissions as well. I did not receive any email, so I'm not one of those 8 people. I guess it's not looking good for me. From those who applied through admissions, did your status change?
  9. I think you can check the "Registration Informtion" tab, under "Registration Status".... or "My Records" tab, under "View Student Information", but I'm not sure you would have this unless you were a previous NCC student. Some people got a letter before their status change, so it's not 100%
  10. Okay. So I think my points are correct. I've been holding off on a new job waiting for this, so I really hope we find out sooner than later.
