Starting the thread for those anxious applicants trying to get a read on this year's pool of candidates...
So who is willing to post what they've scored?
Here's mine:
A&P 1: A
A&P 2: B+
Eng 1: A
Eng 2: B+
Micro: ___
Psych: A
Stats: C- (blah!)
TEAS: 78
Not particularly found of the revision to the rubric.
So what are you holding???
No mail for me today I'm getting really nervous. I got an 80% on the TEAs, which puts me at "Advanced", and my overall rubric score is a 73.25. I already see on here a few people who had "Proficient" on TEAs got in. I live in Nassau County, so maybe that is the delay. I'm hoping I'll hear something tomorrow. If not, I will be really confused on how they use the rubric.
Yes that was going to be my next question to you guys what program you applied to. Its getting ridiculous and I wasn't really feeling confident about what they told me. I'm going back to Ammerman admissions in Tuesday because this run around is crazy. They stopped taking applications after August 15th so what is the delay. Also if all the letters went out the 16th then Whats the big deal with looking me up and just yay or nay. The lady at Ammerman told me I could go in next week and see her again with my school ID and I'm not leaving without an answer. Unless I get a definitive answer via mail. I realistically see where its most likely going for me anyway, but at least I could move on to the next school. Im already starting the Stony Brook application process anyway.
I regret putting my PO box as my address now. Because of my wacky hours working, I was too late to pick up mail to see if it was sent there. I recently changed my address to where I live, on Suffolk's website. Not sure if that has anything to do with my delay. My fingers are crossed for everyone still waiting for a response.
I've been optimistic and have been checking Suffolk's email and my transcript. I was hoping that there would, by some miracle, be an email informing me of the decision, or the transcript saying I was in the nursing program without having to wait for that letter in the mail. No one be any means suggested this was possible, but I was also trying to be optimistic that there would be some loophole from this waiting game that never seems to end.
I am hesitant about accepting Adelphi because I live in Holbrook and work full time nights as a cna and have four children. The commute is further, the price is higher, and I would have to go part time at work to be able to be full time at Adelphi. In the long run Adelphi makes way more sense but the program is intended for people without full time jobs, families, and a commute

I just called Grant and totally vented. I don't want to lose my spot at Adelphi waiting for this letter. The man said no way to get an answer over the phone he also said there is no way to get an answer in person. He said not to try. The letter going to then house is a way of confirming residency as well. He said there were letters mailed out on the 16th and that they weren't specific to Rn or Lpn to Rn program. I am so beyond disgusted with this process. I don't understand the way its being handled at all. Whether I got in or not doesn't really matter anymore because I am paying my deposit to Adelphi after this post. I cannot risk waiting anymore especially when you call and get such random answers.
