I see over and over many new grads are stressed out over their new jobs. So, I though it would be helpful to share some stress relief tips that would help them out!
-if I have a stressful day, I unwind by going for a brisk walk then come home and kick back with a glass of wine to relax
Also try having sex with your mate more often, it seems to me that most nurses wind up mateless and more stressed :Crash:because they simply work long hours then get home too tired to do anything. :flowersfoLet me explain one thing, the sex should be purely love making and nothing else, it soothes the soul puts a glow on your skin and relieves stress and anxieties:icon_hug:. Remember always keep your bed warm or someone else will.:w00t:
I dance! On the mornings I get off, I head to the gym and dance for an hour straight. I also weight lift.
I spend time with my family. Once I'm off for 6 days, I don't want to talk about nursing or work.
I shop. I keep this one within reason. Little things for the house, the kid, a new pair of shoes for me.
Lots of spa days. I try to make it to the spa twice a month for a manicure, pedicure, wax, and micro-derm facial.
Lots of Girls Night Out. One glass of wine, dinner, and good dancing!
Been working so far.
