Hi all,
Thought I'd start a thread here so we can connect. I am in the process of taking my pre-reqs and plan to submit my application by the Oct 2019 deadline for the Summer 2020 start.
I'm planning on attending the Sept 19 info session on campus - anyone else going?
Hi Everyone,
Thank you for all of the comments. I have not gotten an interview invitation or any form of communication from them since the application was sent. Does this most likely mean that I will be getting a rejection letter from them sometime in January? Based on the comments on this thread, it looks like all of the interview invites have already been sent out. Thank you. Happy New Year to all of you and Good Luck!

We need to keep in mind that nursing school is a business. It’s sad that for most who can not afford private school we have to go through this process of waiting for SUNY or CUNY schools to take us. Not only does each program have different requirements; but none of those requirements are in actual use when we start working. I have met nurses who have gone to expensive schools and can insert an IV. Nurses who have gone to an associates program and make mistakes in giving an DKA pt dextrose bag. Some programs ask for organic chemistry but if you ask any current nurse what an aldehyde or ketone is they won’t know the difference.
