Hi! I just sent in my application, completed, today and received an email requesting me to go to the campus Wednesday 12/19 for an admissions interview. Did you get the interview request?

I'm a bit nervous as well. I am wondering if every applicant gets an interview. I'm going between 1-2 pm as I'm coming from 2.5 hours away! Is this a good sign that we got interview?

I wish Stony Brook was closer to me. Living in Brooklyn, it is about a 90 minutes drive and that is assuming there is no traffic. Do you know how often classes meet? I guess it's not so bad if classes are no more than two days a week. I also saw that Stony Brook has an online path. Anyone have any information on that?

I am planning on the online path. I am too far to be on campus even 2 days a week. I thought it was an online program with occasional meets in LI and they place you in hospitals near where you live? Idk. That's what I thought this was. Anyone have any idea?

Did you hear anything about how often those on campus meets happen? I live in Queens.

I haven't heard anything and I can't find it online anywhere. I did get a confirmation for Wednesday the 19th at 1pm though. Maybe we can ask at the interview. What time is yours? I think I'll call tomorrow and find out, I'll let you know if I find out anything.

Are all interviews in person? What was the interview like? My interview is for the 28th and I'm coming from out of town// they didn't give me any information like where to meet?

Hi! Follow the email directions. If you're going by car, it'll tell you exactly how to get there. Bus, train, etc. My interview had 7 people in it. They asked various questions and went around the room. It wasn't that bad. Plan to be there for a while. Good luck!

Yes. About once a month. I didn't feel confident in the interview. The only thing that I have is a GPA > 3.5. Other than that, I didn't feel confident. I guess we'll see! They said there's 300 applicants and 60 seats but not everyone gets an interview out of that 300. I'm not sure how many interviews they hold. We'll see!
