Hello to all, I just received an email for the FNP interview @ Stony Brook School of Nursing. I am wondering if anyone had the interview and what kind of questions they ask during the interview? I heard it's a group interview, how does it work? Thanks in advance, any information would help, appreciated!!
I am also from NY. I live in Brooklyn so it took me a good 2 hours to get there and then 3 hours to get back bc of traffic. I will be taking LIRR if I get in because I'd rather sit on a train and study than deal with traffic. Has anyone heard anything yet? I interviewed in Nov and still haven't heard a peep. I am guessing we won't hear till next month or maybe even February if they aren't able to attend the Jan meeting! This waiting is driving me nuts but guess just gotta be patient :)
I think it's now rolling admission too (at least that is what I read), so I assume people may hear back at different times, instead of all at once, but not sure (I am guessing in Feb like admissions had said?)? I know there are people interviewing in Jan still. By the way, did anyone calculate the price of the program? I looked into it and noticed it was much higher than any SUNY school for graduate (by anywhere from 15-20K more) and not sure why (being in L.I. shouldn't matter either), as I thought the state schools are fairly all similar in pricing as they are public, etc.

When I interviewed in nov for Fnp they said that they would not be able to attend the nov meeting but that they would be in attendance for December, so we would hear after that. Said maybe it would be an early Christmas present. I wonder if they since cancelled that meeting...
