Hello to all, I just received an email for the FNP interview @ Stony Brook School of Nursing. I am wondering if anyone had the interview and what kind of questions they ask during the interview? I heard it's a group interview, how does it work? Thanks in advance, any information would help, appreciated!!
I applied 9/22/15, interviewed 10/12/15 and accepted 11/22/15. They asked casual interview questions, why did you apply here, why nursing, why FNP, what are your challenges for the FNP program, strong points, weak points. Reference letters I used 2 friends who are nurses, and one former supervisor.
I just interviewed for ANP! Any updates from those of you who interviewed for any of the NP programs? Does anyone know the acceptance rate? They told me I'll be notified of the decision late Jan-early Feb, hoping its sooner! I also applied to FNP but haven't been invited to interview yet.
It sure is! @ tournerviolet I interviewed for ANP and have an interview coming up for FNP[emoji27] keep us posted! Also 917RN I think those 8 seats that they said were already filled may be from their BSN-MSN bridge program. Those students are doing BSN now and will matriculate straight into FNP without having to apply again.
Hi everybody! I interviewed for Fnp in the middle of nov and at that time they had already received 400 applicants for 80 seats and they said they had already accepted 8. Not sure if those accepted were in the bridge program. But they did say that they would be trying to notify by January, maybe even earlier. I wonder if they notify you either way....does anyone know?
