Stony Brook FNP Interview

Published

Hello to all, I just received an email for the FNP interview @ Stony Brook School of Nursing. I am wondering if anyone had the interview and what kind of questions they ask during the interview? I heard it's a group interview, how does it work? Thanks in advance, any information would help, appreciated!!

Thanks. I noticed that the Nov deadline was extended for both programs up until Dec 3rd...so maybe the interview process is taking longer for all programs in general? Interview dates for Psych ran up until Feb, so maybe the same for the other programs as well.

Does anyone know if once accepted into any if the NP, is there a possibility for us to receive admission to their DNP without going through the "formal" admissuons process? I only ask because I notice the website mentioning a bsn-DNP cohort for the upcoming year.

I don't think so. That was one of my questions when I went if we can automatically be matriculated but they said we have to apply to the DNP and interview again. Who knows though things could change by the end of the program. My biggest concern right now is being accepted to the MSN, one step at a time [emoji120]🏽[emoji120]🏽[emoji120]🏽
