Stony Brook BSN - Summer/Fall 2011 Applicants

ok, it's never too early to start a thread about applying for 2011 ... :D ... which i am most definitely doing even though i am still waitlisted for 2010. i just won't be able to attend this year if i get in ... :(

but that's ok! i'll be done with all my prereqs and have time to write a better application (if in fact that is at all possible, you know?).

anyone else applying to stony brook for summer 2011?

Congrats paco!! They didn't have that last year but I think they r wising up since so many of us called like lunatics w our new tabs!

I was sitting in class this morning and was reading through this thread on my phone, and I saw that some of you had gotten your decisions thru solar.. I cant tell you the anxiety I felt for the next hour until my class ended, I flew home and logged onto solar and burst into tears!! Haha I am sooo happy and I'm sure some of you felt the same way.. maybe without the crying

Hello everyone...I've been lurking and stalking this thread forever. I am soooo excited...I just saw the tabs to

pay the deposit (which I plan to do right away).. CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who got in and to everyone who hasnt heard yet, hang in there. I was in that position last year....Now to make housing arrangements :-)

what do you think the chances are that something will show up for those that did not get the tabs in their solar system?

CONGRATUALTIONS to those who have heard already, and I will be thinking positive thoughts for those still waiting to hear. Probably plenty of maneuvering yet to come. I hope the thread for the 2 year program starting in the Fall is as animated and informative as this one, you all have set the bar high. Best of luck! Buckeroo out!

Congrats to those who have been accepted!! I really am happy for you all. My game plan was to check this sight daily before logging into Solar the past month. I can't believe the day has arrived for us. I am so nervous to check my solar, I am saying a prayer and waiting for my kids to get home from school to login. (I know it's supersticious, but I need all the lucky charms I can get). Paco.....I knew you were getting it...all that optimism and support you gave everyone!! HOpe to hear good news too!

I checked last night, and I got in!!!!!! I'm SO EXCITED!!!! Congrats to everyone else who will be joining me this summer, and best of luck to all of those still waiting to hear back!

So I just checked SOLAR and I didn't get in :uhoh3:. Now I get to play the waiting game one more time while I wait to hear about the 2 year.
