Thank you! I submitted it last minute, January 3rd. I honestly don’t think that makes a difference though. They don’t look at the applications until the deadline is over

Has anyone else heard anything back yet?

I'm a little worried. I have a 3.62 GPA with A's and B+'s in all my prerequisites. I applied to NYU also, but their deadline isn't until March. The constant waiting is agonizing.

Nope, I emailed them, and they said that emails may go out until april, until all final decisions are made.

hey everyone, I applied to one year program, didn't get in. I got the interview the two year program.

I spoke to a woman named Lisa and at the time she said they were still in the process of rolling out emails for interviews. From my understanding, the people that go through the applications is composed of a small team. They go through the applications by hand and take a long time going over them. Because I was growing restless, I called again and spoke to a gentleman on 1/25/19 and he said that if I didn’t hear from Stony Brook “within two weeks”, then that is bad news. So my understanding is that if we do not hear anything by 2/8/19, we are probably not getting an interview email. This is all the information I have.

Truthfully at this point, I am focusing my efforts on other schools. I’m applying to Adelphi, Molloy, Post, and Binghamton. I was accepted to Post and am “unofficially” accepted to Adelphi but obviously Stony Brook was the dream.

I was looking into stony even though the commute will be annoying for me...did you know anything about post’s problem? I was going to apply there too basically all the program you listed except for binghamton because I did originally go to school there and now starting over because of them lol

Posts program requires you to go for a full four years for your bachelors even if you have an associates or certain Pre Reqs. I only applied there as a back up plan.

I know Molloy and Adelphis program are really good. Adelphi’s Program takes 2.5 years I think because they require a full semester of sciences.

I don’t know about Molloy program but from what I understand, it’s only two years if you have pre reqs with your associates.

I guess I am a bit late to the party lol. I was kinda glad I found this thread but after reading the recent posts I am now feeling a bit down ?

I applied on 12/27 and haven't received any emails yet. I'm still going to keep my fingers crossed though and hoping for a miracle. Good luck to those that were given the opportunity for an interview ?

I am being a bit pessimistic but if you look at previous threads from the past, the answers we are getting from the office sound about the same. The only accurate answer I got was from the the gentleman who essentially said if we didn’t hear by 2/8, we probably aren’t getting an interview. Yes, they do interviews throughout these months BUT they NEVER specified WHEN they stop sending interview emails and that’s what I was trying to figure out. I just want piece of mind at this point.
