  1. Hello! I don't recall if it had any spot for certifications or not. There might be a section where you upload certificates but I might be getting that confused with other applications. We didn't have any interview process. I found out I got in in November I think and then we had orientation in December. I know during orientation we filed out a sheet that let us put down if we had any certs. A lot of the people in the program had no healthcare background so they don't totally look at that as a factor. Some people had healthcare background but I think it was found that most did not. 3.3 is a good GPA and if you do well on the TEAS that makes it even better! I hope this helps a little. Best of luck!
  2. Yeah, I finished it last week. It's due the 28th for me but it's whenever you have Nur114 lecture and lab day I believe. It should say your due date on the assignments on the point
  3. I'm looking through everything on blackboard right now, were we given a key code for SimEMR?
  4. I thought about it but it didn't even dawn on me to buy my own. Thank God she sent the email out though. Was there anything else we needed? My friend bought me a pen light but I saw on the flyyn O'Hara website they had those scissors for clothes cutting I guess, did we need those?
  5. Was anyone else aware we needed stethescopes???? I don't remember being told this and I just read an email from professor Chory about simulation and I panicked because school is in 2 days!!! Thank God for Amazon prime.
  6. Your first one is free. If you lose it or need a new one its 25$ I Believe
  7. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07SCXW6NV?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title i bought these shoes from Amazon. They're all white and were like 20$ I think.
  8. Nice! I guess we get to maybe meet earlier than clinicals
  9. Is anyone going to the CPR class today??
  10. I ordered mine December 5th and I only get them like this past Saturday I think. I ordered the shirt too big so I have to order an xxs now but it took a while to get to me. They said it takes 2 weeks at least to process the order. Oh cool! Someone else in Plainview
  11. For those who bought the textbooks: did you also buy the Henke's one that showed it was required on the online bookstore? She only emailed us about 2 of the 3 books that are shown as required.
  12. If you go to Oasis and then to registration and scroll down and click buy books from bookstore ir whatever it says, it takes you to the bookstore with the books were supposed to buy. Theres 8 but 3 are recommended. Has anyone gotten any emails from professors or anything?
  13. Has anyone started buying books yet? I know they said to looks elsewhere online where it could be cheaper but some of the stuff says "...w/access" so I'm worried about buying it from Amazon or another website and not getting the access code or the checklist with the code.
  14. That's totally weird. Def email them.
