  1. I am currently applying to nursing school officially after finish up my pre-reqs and th people I asked to give me letter of recommendations said they want to know everything I’ve done and not too long ago I shadowed a nurse in a hospital..how would I include that on a resume and where exactly would I put that? I don’t want to leave that experience out because it definitely was an interesting experience and it also gave me a glimpse of what being a nurse is like

    Stony Brook BSN program 2019-2021

Just seeing this now because I guess I no longer get email notifications. Honestly I’m so confused on what my best options is but I guess once I apply and have transcripts evaluated then I’ll know for certain but I had a feeling post is a four year program regardless of having an associates or not because briefly speaking to them they mentioned that

The only positive I see out of it is it's like a 3+1 program but it's not like a bachelors/masters program, and with the way things are going for nursing I'd be shocked if there was a way to still work as a nurse in a hospital locally while you still continue with that last year of school. Plus Time and money the two biggest factors here honestly not sure what's really the best choice anymore

Thank you, yeah I'll have to figure out all the info out once I'm done with this ssemester but as much as I hate the idea tthat price may be more worth it in the long run if it means I'm working faster...I know I definitely qualify for the gpa tuition scholarship

If I'm reading this correctly, it'll take a 3 years to complete for associates and an extra year for bachelors so 4 years total? Is there a way to speed that up? i like the idea of no chem it literally makes me want to jump with joy considering the only extra class I would need is patho but part of me is debating should I reconsider the idea of making NCC nursing program an idea for me again because Adelphi I could be done in 2 years and if I really wanted to 1 1/2 years at most the only thing not making me fully commit to that idea is money but with NCC It might be the time it takes for me to finish that steers me away

    Anatomy & Physiology 2 Help

This is for the people that say anatomy 2 is easier than one.....can someone tell your strategies or pass on helpful info on how to do well in the class? The last test I had was on the heart and blood vessels and for not having my ADHD medicine on hand because I was put out of loop having to put my dog down the week prior and reordered late and it didn't arrive in time for the test. I know I am getting stumped on multiple choice questions with lecture so if you have some sort of helpful quizzes that worked for you and are willing to happen I'd be extremely grateful. In lab, It says my unweighted average is 77.5 and weighted is 86 so I'm not sure which is exactly counted....unfortunately I am not doing well as I like in lab because unlike the other anatomy 2 class that are taking the same lecture professors but in different lab class, mine isn't giving us the opportunity to redeem ourselves while other students can earn up to 110 (basically extra credit isn't allowed for anatomy but professors still give bonus points that will only help us and not hurt us if we get it wrong in both lab and lecture) on lab tests and I personally do not feel my lab class and I are being treated fairly and the professor is just not approachable for example if you try to ask him a question he literally tells us to figure it out ourselves, he doesn't teach in class he expect us to be able to know the models from the PowerPoint slides the department gives him so he can give to us and teach ourselves based off of that and the drawings of diagrams in the lab book (which he also test us on and I never met a professor that did that until this semester), he also doesn't check his emails and multiple people in my class have tried to contact the chair of the department after our lecture professor told us to contact them about our current situation but I really do not know what is going on. He also apparently was out for surgery this week in lab and we were suppose to have the lab test next week and he didn't even give us a heads up he would be in class or not let alone inform us if the test was still on or not...it wasn't until an hour ago our lecture professor said the chair of the department heard back and he moved our test back a week however he still has yet to email us about that and maybe I'm wrong but I still it's really disrespectful he hasn't tried to contact the class and I am just super frustrated. Long story short, this semester let's just say it has really tested me and I have a C+ average right now so I'm trying to make a comeback for the last four tests (2 practicals and 2 lecture test). So literally any and all helpful would be beyond appreciated and I would forever be grateful.

    Cardiovascular....Test Prep Help?

I feel like I have used the extent of my resources already, do you guys have any websites you like to use to help study for lecture tests? I want to be able to know the material in my sleep. I use quizlet and my textbook's test questions already...any suggestions would be extremely helpful!

Best Way to Study For Practical Tests

I'll give an example why i prefer using quizlet even though printing them out and just covering what I didn't know..with quizlet it kinda forces me to know everything as opposed to choosing everything I know and kinda hoping I guess correctly for the areas I don't...does that make sense?

Best Way to Study For Practical Tests

I have PowerPoint pics of the models and specifically saying where and what to know...I was more saying in case some areas don't list areas of things I have to know as well and I needed to add in because since I have the free version I don't think it would allow me to copy the model and add whatever I needed to since for diagrams on the free version your only allowed 8 arrows/points per set hopefully that clears things up

Best Way to Study For Practical Tests

I was going to use it to label the models and instead of having to make a bajillion because your only allowed 8 points in the picture per set I thought about paying only cause last time it was aggravating me to make these and I like using the sets to force myself to know the location as opposed to picking and choosing what I know if that makes sense
