  1. For most people the rubric scores were lower than their TEAS scores for the people who got accepted. I also know that they mostly look at the TEAS scores and then if there’s a tie they compare rubric scores. So I’d think you have a pretty good chance.
  2. I hope it’s early march! Do any of you have prior experiences in the healthcare field?
  3. Each separately. I just wrote down the points that I got for each grade etc then added them all together.
  4. 84 on TEAS and also 84 in the rubric. i have looked through the past two years posts for SCCC and it seemed like 79 and up (on TEAS) got accepted, so it looks like we have very good chances ? Did you apply anywhere else?
  5. That’s a good rubric score kas01! What’s your TEAS score if I may ask? i just applied again online because apparently they never received my application in the mail. Lol
  6. They don’t let you know why they didn’t accept you but I knew it was the math. I do well on essays and interviews. I know that they care about the math test the most, so that makes sense. Also if your gpa isn’t a 4.0, you’d have to make up for that by acing the interview, essay and math. I didn’t have a 4.0 plus didn’t do too well on the math. There’s too much competition. There’s always someone as good or better than you lol. Their NCLEX passing rates are very high and they want to keep it that way. I’ll try again but I know I have good chances to get into Suffolk which takes away a lot of pressure. Every person they interview is really motivated. It’s very competitive and I think that most of them score very high in each of those “tests”. Therefore you’re not really allowed to be too weak in one area. There are too many applicants with 4.0’s that ace them all!
  7. Hi everyone! im also applying again. I applied last year and also got an interview but scored too low on the math test, which was annoying (I was too nervous) and didn’t get in. I was really close!! So I’m trying again now that I know what to expect. I also applied to SCCC as a backup ? what’s everyone gpa? my overall is 3.6 and science is 3.22.
  8. Once you take the TEAS you’ll see on the SCCC website it shows how many points you get depending on how high you scored in each category of the TEAS.
  9. Good luck!! I took it early in case I had to retake it. Let us know how it went ?
  10. Hi everybody? i figured I start the next round for the Fall 2020 semester for SCCC Nursing! ? Who else is applying? And what’s your TEAS/Rubric score?
  11. First time applying and I knew the rejection mail was coming (2 days ago) as I did horribly on the math part. I will do CNA now and apply again when the application opens up again in the summer/fall :)
  12. Thank you! I submitted it last minute, January 3rd. I honestly don’t think that makes a difference though. They don’t look at the applications until the deadline is over
  13. 3.7 overall GPA. I have A’s in all my pre reqs except the sciences, in which I have B+ however I haven’t taken Micro Bio and stats yet. I had very good recommendations but otherwise no related work experience.
  14. Same here! Allnurses wouldn’t even let me sign up for a while. Now it seems to work. I applied as well and received an email on 1/14 to schedule my interview. Very exciting!! I don’t know if they still send out emails but wish you guys luck to get one! I was probably just in the first wave of emails.
