Stony Brook Basic BSN Class of 2018

Hey Everyone,

Now that the deadline for the class of 2018 Basic BSN program at Stony Brook University is coming up, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to and for all applicants. I hope there isn't already a thread made already because I searched thoroughly but could not find one. If you have any questions or just want to talk feel free to comment. Best of luck to all of you on your applications!

You cannot pick your schedule. And, I can't tell you 100% what your wchedule is gonna be like but here are the classes I took: Fundamentals I, Health assessment, Med-math, and Nursing theory. And you will have clinical for half the semester for PAI.

This Wednesday is going to be 8 weeks since my interview I don't know why it takes this long

Considering they said two weeks Im thinking were most likely gonna hear next week. Though it would be great if we could hear back sooner

One of the reasons for such a long wait is the background check the school has to perform. For some applicants, that's not a lengthy process (those 20 year-olds out there). For others, this could take a week alone (like myself). If I were the investigator, I'd be putting my application on the bottom or waiting until I could have a few glasses of wine first ;)
