Stony Brook Basic BSN Class of 2018

Hey Everyone,

Now that the deadline for the class of 2018 Basic BSN program at Stony Brook University is coming up, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to and for all applicants. I hope there isn't already a thread made already because I searched thoroughly but could not find one. If you have any questions or just want to talk feel free to comment. Done and done... Applied and all my recommendations were completed on the Dec. 31st. So I'm starting the new year on a good note! SBU 2018 (hopefully:nailbiting:)

Thanks for starting the thread, I don't think theres another one on here for us! I submitted my application two days ago. Really hoping to get accepted. Did any of you apply for the accelerated, too?

Does anyone know the time frame on when we find out if we get an interview?

Is this a 3 year program?

Its a 2 year program. 4 semesters. Essentially it would be junior/senior year of college, but all nursing courses for those of us who already have a bachelors.

You do not need a bachelors for the 2 year program, that is only reuqired for the 1 year accelerated program.
