Stony Brook Basic BSN Class of 2018

Hey Everyone,

Now that the deadline for the class of 2018 Basic BSN program at Stony Brook University is coming up, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to and for all applicants. I hope there isn't already a thread made already because I searched thoroughly but could not find one. If you have any questions or just want to talk feel free to comment.     Done and done... Applied and all my recommendations were completed on the Dec. 31st. So I'm starting the new year on a good note! SBU 2018 (hopefully:nailbiting:)

    Its a 2 year program. 4 semesters. Essentially it would be junior/senior year of college, but all nursing courses for those of us who already have a bachelors.

    If i remember correctly you should recieve an email around april.

    You do not need a bachelors for the 2 year program, that is only reuqired for the 1 year accelerated program.

    What I meant was that its like redoing the last two years of college for those of us who have already graduated from a 4 year school.

    I googled the acceptance rate for stony... its 41.3%, but I'm guessing the school of nursing has a much lower rate of acceptance.
