Hey all. I'm a long time viewer, but rarely post. I just wanted to say that i've decided to go thru escelsior to obtain my rn. I'm an LPN, have been for three years, and work in a smaller hospitals CCU/ER.

I've wanted to go for my RN since day one of graduating LPN school, but d/t financial/time restraints have been unable to. I guess i'm honestly here just looking for encouragement that this CAN be done and that i will someday graduate with my RN license.

Excellent choice! We're all in the same boat. Manage your time to study, bring flashcards with you wherever you go. You'll be fine.

I'm right in there with you! Just started Transitions and am waiting on the official transcript results. I have never felt more sure or more confident than I do now. There is soooo much support here and way more resources than I had when I went thru my LPN program in 1993. The internet is a beautiful resource that just keeps on giving! Good luck and hopefully those of us who are starting the journey can keep each other on track and motivated.

I also just started excelsior and is waiting for my evals to come through so i can start registering for classes....This forum is great!, it gave me alot of support and encouragement to go through with my LPN school and now for my ADN. Thank you to those who are active on this site and has always been supportive! :loveya:
