  1. You can do it and best of luck, you are certainly not alone and after all the hard work you've already put in, there's no where to go but forward and finish that RN degree! =)
  2. congrats on your acceptances! quick question for those who got in Touro: How was the interview process like? I'll be going to mine soon and is just getting a little nervous working myself up lol. Any information will be appreciated. Thanks! =)
  3. Hi, I'm an LPN looking into bridge programs in nyc but i've hit a stump and would appriciate any comments. I'm a full time worker at an ambulatory clinic and is looking for something that i can do at nights/weekends. With the pre-reqs I only need 2 more classes to get into the clinicals. I've heard alot of mixed reviews about LCC and would like some honest opinions from students who are going through the bridge program. I understand that its very competitive and intense, and i'm willing to accommodate. I just want to know if the education aspect and/or learning process is worth the time. Otherwise I'll have to look at other options. Thank you soo much in advanace for your help! p.s. I'm currently enrolled in excelsior and is lacking the self-discipline required. So no distance learning for me =(
  4. I also just started excelsior and is waiting for my evals to come through so i can start registering for classes....This forum is great!, it gave me alot of support and encouragement to go through with my LPN school and now for my ADN. Thank you to those who are active on this site and has always been supportive! :loveya:
  5. I also just enrolled in EC for the transitional program, just for my LPN license 2 mos. ago and is still looking for a job..*sigh I'm still waiting for my " official" evaluation to come through, but from the unofficial report, I need to take the nursing courses. Wishing everybody the best of luck! :chuckle Puppies are a joy! :redbeathe
  6. I'm looking for the same thing in brooklyn and found that citytech has an A.A.S programs for LPNs. Best of luck.
  7. I heard that SUNY downstate offers a program for those who already have a BS or BA. It's a BSN program though
  8. Best of luck to you, Mine is in Sep.
  9. i had to endure a 10 month lpn program and a particular girl in there made my life a living hell, she was unprofessional, stubborn, and thinks that she was better than others, yet she doesn't read her material and blames the teachers for having bad grades. what the majority said is right, ignore ignore ignore. they're not going to give you your paycheck, and you're in there for a reason. that person is not going to sit next to you on your nclex and help you with it. stick it out, and always remind yourself why you're in the program. things will figure itself out. best of luck to you. p.s. you can always vent here! ;d
  10. Congrats everyone! I graduated a month ago and is preparing for the NCLEX. Will be taking it in Sept. Wishing everyone the best of luck!
  11. hehehehe yay i got the same answer, just wasnt confident enough... I used dimentional anaylsis and for 613 mcg/min, then just divided that into 79.5kg. good work!
  12. Thank you everyone for their encouragement. I just needed a "waking slap" to the face. Couldn't sleep last night, but will start thinking positive thoughts. =D
  13. I have a completely different answer. Dont want to confuse you, since I' not that confident myself. Can you please post the correct answer though? Thanks
