How long did it take you to finish up your pre-reqs? question is for LPN and RN's, Can i finish LPN pre-reqs in 1 quater? I am thinking of Chattahoocie tech, Lanier tech. or dekalb tech?

Hi, i have checked out the schools in Atlanta and surounding area's LPN and RN and it seems like they all have waitinglist, i have heard from this girl that there is a very small chance that i will get in. I think thats a shame, Atlanta and America needs more nurses ,they need to develop more programs. Is it true that the Atlanta schools have long waiting list, and hard to get in to,????????????? I have looked into Lanier Tech, Chattahoochie tech, Dekalb tech, Gwinnett tech, Griffin Tech, Georgia perimeter, Are there any private schools wher eu get into right away but pay a bit more? wow, thats sounds more doable for me then having to study 4 or 5 in 2 weeks, you really have to manage your time, and then at the same time we had Fundamentals of Nursing.

Wow.... that is great, cause A&P can be pretty hard if you are new to it, So how long did you get to study that 1 body system? we only got 2 weeks to study about 4 or 5.....craaaaaazy! a mile of flashcards. Its good that you are on your way to be an RN, i am jelous in a good way, i still have a long way to go!!

wow , every body system at one time? Thats great!! At Galen we had to learn sometimes 5 in 2 weeks. So you stay in class from 8pm-4? or can u get out ealier sometimes? Thank you for the info

I have to agree with you on that, i used to go to Galen and was not treated very nicely, i hear good things about their program, it is hard and all, but they treat their students like a bunch of kids in bootcamp, once you pay that tuition you get no more respect, some teachers curve grades, and it makes you wonder, do they lower the grades of others? I have had a view times that the scantron made a serious mistake in grades and so did others, i did not compalin about a cursing untill i found out that not every students grade got curved, i have heard some people are sueing the school for various reasons. I think a school should be strict on its rules but at the same time respect its students, we paid 14 grand, we are the customers. Did you make it trough the program in 1 time? and what was your grade point avarage? How many people did you start out with and how many did graduate?

Hi this question is for DANISH, i am considering trying the LPN program at Keiser, Since galen did not work out for me, i really really really want to become a nurse and am obsessed about it , i am just not a wonderfull test taker. My question for you about Keiser career college is, How many students are there in 1 class, are their classes small or large like Galen? How many classes do you have per quarter? I s it 1 class at a time or more classes at the same time? What is their attendance policy like? Can u fail any class? What is the passing grade you will have to score? Wich classes did you start out with? How many students made it to graduation? Sorry for the many question, i just want to get the info from a student, i dont know if i can trust the advisors. Hey danish, How is Keiser going, how are the instructors? How do you like to school overal? and how is their attendance policy? as strict as Galen?

I am in an 12 mo LPN program!, I am stressed as hell, have so much homework, i just want to cy!!!!!! Failed one test (A&P) and have some rumor spreading-backstabbing-insecure-gossping girls in my class, not all just 2 of them. How do you handle the stress of nursing school, and how do you deal with gossiping or jelous people? I can hear them talking about me, always asking what my grades are? Sometimes i dont hear what they say ...but i just know they are talking about me...sometimes they write stuff on little piece of papers so you cant hear them.... Who has been through this?? How do you deal with the stress? And have any of you guys ever failed a test in LPn school? Thank you, Much love!!

whats the pay for LPN's in metro Atlanta working in LTC/rehab Nursing homes??? Please help?? Your responce is very much apreaciated.
