I start Aug 19. last sem of co-req's. I was suppose to have started this semester, but nursing profram filled up. Start 1st semester of nursing program in January. Turned in application and have all pre-qualifications done ACT, NET, A&P I&II, and College Algebra. Have taken all co-req's except 4 taken 2 this semester. Saving 2 for each fall semester that I have to be considered full time (12hrs). My school is 1st come 1st serve, as long as you meet their qualifications.

My classes start August 22nd. I will be in the 4th semester of my prerequisites. Time is really flying....I rememeber when I started my first semester last year.

Just curious as to what school you are going too... Is it Hinds?? I am from Mississippi and started a nursing program there and hated it, but it was also a first come first serve...

Yes it is Hinds! I think the first come first serve makes it too easy to get in. I was accepted to an ADN program last year that only accepted around 30 students a year, which i think weeds out a lot of people that aren't serious. We found out we were going to move back to MS so I didn't start. Were you at HINDS?

Hehe, yeah I went to hinds.. I hated it, so I quit.... I think started a Veterinary Technician program also at Hinds and graduated from it in May 00... Moved to arkansas and decided to go back to nursing school and am fixing to start my 2nd semester...

Where do you live in MS?? I am from Pearl, lived there for 23yrs...
