Stanford New Grad RN Residency Fall 2020

Published

Hi all, soon to be new grad here!

I didn't find another thread yet for the Stanford New Grad RN Residency starting Fall 2020. I thought this would be a good place to share advice and on where/when to apply for Stanford’s nurse residency program. I have a vague understanding that it may reopen this spring, however, the website does not have much information past that. Not to mention, it's nice to extend a little support to each other during our first job hunt.

Best of luck to everybody!

I received an email yesterday for surgical interview as well! Best of luck to everyone!

For everyone who received an interview invite- when you responded to the email, did the recruiter confirm that your message was received?

I received an automatic reply when I responded to the invite to interview email. Looks like Kevin Silvestre is out of office yesterday and today. Anyway - says we should hear updates by this upcoming Friday.

hey everyone, I did a lot of research looking into behavioral type questions and the usual structure of stanford interviews. I was wondering if anyone who interviewed before have any feedback or advice they're willing to share. it would be much appreciated as I, along with all of us interviewing, would greatly benefit from any insight. thanks in advance!

I may be wrong, but I believe it was only medicine, surgical and oncology.

Peds ED would be for the Lucile Packard application. Stanford adults only had Medicine/Surgical/ICU/Oncology.

It's okay to have prior paid RN experience correct? I can't find the original job posting anymore
