Hi all, soon to be new grad here!
I didn't find another thread yet for the Stanford New Grad RN Residency starting Fall 2020. I thought this would be a good place to share advice and on where/when to apply for Stanford’s nurse residency program. I have a vague understanding that it may reopen this spring, however, the website does not have much information past that. Not to mention, it's nice to extend a little support to each other during our first job hunt.
Best of luck to everybody!

Hi! I was just about to submit my application and then noticed they're also requiring a cover letter. Does anyone know who the main recruiter is for the program? I'm happy to throw out the standard "To Whom It May Concern" but was hoping for something more personal than that. Thanks!
Btw - The application is open now through their website:
https://stanfordhealthcare.org/health-care-professionals/nursing/professional-development/nurse-residency-program.html
Expand the "Apply to the Program" heading, and click on the hyperlink underneath that says "Click to view."
From there, search job number 56101.
(The only reason I know this is through incessant daily Google searching and Glassdoor.)
Good luck!

Hi! I was wondering if you ever figured out who to address your cover letter to. Thanks!

Hey! I was advised (by a former applicant who was accepted) to just say "Dear RN Residency Team" or "Dear Hiring Manager" or something along those lines.
Also, I don't remember exactly where I saw this, but I vaguely recall reading something on the Stanford website about them not disclosing hiring managers' names or contact information d/t privacy reasons.

Hi @DanielleTam, I believe if you're looking to apply for the cohort that starts in the Fall of this year, that application does not open up until about July/August with a start date of around October/September. I'm in the same boat, I'm expecting to graduate this May and start in the fall. The application that is open right now is for people that graduated in the Winter of 2019 with a start date of June/July.
Just submitted! Good luck to everyone ?

I remember when I applied for the position it required documents to be attatched, but looking at my app it looks like nothing was attatched ? is everyone’s app blank under “attached docs”?

I remember when I first submitted the application it said all required documents were received, but I have the same thing now - there aren't any listed.
