Stanford New Grad RN Residency Fall 2020

Hi all, soon to be new grad here!

I didn't find another thread yet for the Stanford New Grad RN Residency starting Fall 2020. I thought this would be a good place to share advice and on where/when to apply for Stanford’s nurse residency program. I have a vague understanding that it may reopen this spring, however, the website does not have much information past that. Not to mention, it's nice to extend a little support to each other during our first job hunt.

I am interviewing for Critical Care on Tuesday! I wonder if they will be having multiple interviews going on at once or if everyone will be mixed up (I.e. ICU panelists with surgical panelists for example)

I dont think they mix units together. only people for ICU will be together since since those managers will be in on the call.

I didn't think so either but I also considered that the head of the New Grad Program might want to be present in all interviews. Maybe not though!

Does anyone have any idea on how many people they hired in the last cohort or how many they will be hiring this time around? Thanks!

For which department? I think all ICUs will be taking 1 or 2 new grads. Not sure about other units but maybe 2 or more

I interviewed last time around and don’t remember exactly how many they were hiring, but they said this time they would be hiring more
