Spring 2022 Nursing Program at Suffolk county community college

Hello, all future nursing students! I am creating this forum early as I made the last forum for the FALL 2021 program. I found that this is very helpful for questions and to have a support system going through this journey. I am a current Suffolk student that is finished with all of the prerequisites except Micro. I planned to apply for the fall 2021 program but I did not get the grade I needed on the TEAS to apply so I am back at it! Never give up and keep positive! If anyone has any suggestions or helpful resources feel free to comment as this forum is for support! Thanks 

I haven’t heard anything either and I’m  starting to assume that we are on a waitlist- my thoughts are that we won’t hear anything now until after the deposit  deadline which I believe  is Tuesday- I’m struggling to stay hopeful LOL

I'm curious as to how many didn't receive their decision and what program did you apply to?

Just a heads up I emailed and the response was that applications are still being processed and reviewed and that we will be notified via email at your SCCC email with a decision..they're probably like leave us alone already!?

Hmmm sounds like a code word for waitlist to me... LOL

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

No, but I think they are waiting to see who doesn’t pay their deposit yet. Then they will take people off the waitlist if any spots open. They technically haven’t finished their admissions process until then. I think it’s just so everyone is on the same page. Just check your Suffolk email once everyday and it’ll be okay. I will post something if I hear anything. The first wave of people who received an acceptance letter was Tuesday of last week. We had a week to pay our deposit to keep our spot. So I’m thinking they will start looking at the waitlist tomorrow and Wednesday. So maybe we will get more info soon?
