Spring 2022 Nursing Program at Suffolk county community college

Hello, all future nursing students! I am creating this forum early as I made the last forum for the FALL 2021 program. I found that this is very helpful for questions and to have a support system going through this journey. I am a current Suffolk student that is finished with all of the prerequisites except Micro. I planned to apply for the fall 2021 program but I did not get the grade I needed on the TEAS to apply so I am back at it! Never give up and keep positive! If anyone has any suggestions or helpful resources feel free to comment as this forum is for support! Thanks

Yes, I did. It’s $40. And the schedules came out for the classes yesterday. The transition class seems intense ? BUT I work with someone who’s in the program and she said we usually get out earlier than posted. I’m hoping LOL

That's weird. I didn't get any background check e-mail. And schedules?? I'm lost.

When you say schedules, do you mean the class availability?

Email (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) in regards to the Background check. She's the one that's in charge of that

Maybe it's just people in LPN to RN who got the background check stuff etc?

You can look up the schedule online. Under check course availability… Spring 2022 and nursing. They’re not open to register until 11/8 but at least you’ll get an idea of the schedule. And I got the background check in my email. ??‍♀️

I think (from what I saw last year) South side, good Sam, stony brook, Mather and psych is pilgrim.
