Spring 2022 Nursing Program at Suffolk county community college

Hello, all future nursing students! I am creating this forum early as I made the last forum for the FALL 2021 program. I found that this is very helpful for questions and to have a support system going through this journey. I am a current Suffolk student that is finished with all of the prerequisites except Micro. I planned to apply for the fall 2021 program but I did not get the grade I needed on the TEAS to apply so I am back at it! Never give up and keep positive! If anyone has any suggestions or helpful resources feel free to comment as this forum is for support! Thanks

I think (from what I saw last year) South side, good Sam, stony brook, Mather and psych is pilgrim. 

Yeah I see it's going to be pretty intense, but I'm ready for this ride. ?

Did anyone else do the background check? I was expecting to put in a lot of info. Was very fast and basic. Name address ss# license number. Am I missing something? LOL

Same here. They just asked for the SSN & NYS ID #. I remember a couple years back when I had to do it for the LPN program it required more information. But hmm I'm not complaining.

Yea. Weird. Even for my job it was like pages and pages of nonsense. I'll take it.

Has anyone accepted into the LPN program get the email for the background check yet?

I’m just happy we don’t have to do a drug test. Not that I do drugs LOL but I just hate going to do them ?

I'm glad too, but you might give them an idea to start testing in the future. ? When I was in the LPN program, we had one questionable person.
