Hi! Anyone else looking to apply to NCC for the Spring 2019 Nursing Program? I'm so curious and anxious to know if I have enough 'points' to make the cut. How are you guys feeling? How are your points/stats adding up?
Hi thank you - I checked but no change - I finished the liberal arts degree there and applied for graduation but they said that's ok still to apply anyway through nursing dept - so I did, I have I think if incalculated correctly 152.5 points ,don't know if they only look at points to determine who gets in and who doesn't
From my understanding, it's just the points. I'm guessing that if it comes down to the last individuals being chosen with the same number of points they have to use other avenues to make decisions. Your calculated points are very high, previous people on these forums got accepted with points in the 140's, so I'm sure you will get accepted. I am probably at the cut off with 130 points. This is my second time applying, hopefully we all get in.

I have 150.5 points and I'm hoping that's enough as well. I have all the required classes completed. My gpa is 3.65. Nassau resident and never been in a nursing program. It's so stressful not knowing if you have enough points. This is going to be the longest month!
The last time I applied I was at 118 points. There were a few who got accepted with points in the mid 120s. It all depends on the pool of those who are applying. I'm hoping I get in this time... I took the TEAs in May 2017, so this may be my last chance before I would have to take it all over again.

@Rpersau03 ... In previous years, some were able to check their status by going to the NCC portal, clicking on "Registration Information", then "Registration Status". Under "Current program" or "Major and Department" it would say Nursing. You must be a current NCC student to check this status. But beware, in previous semesters on this forum, it did not work for everyone, so it's not a definite status check. Don't get discouraged if yours never changes.
