Hi! Anyone else looking to apply to NCC for the Spring 2019 Nursing Program? I'm so curious and anxious to know if I have enough 'points' to make the cut. How are you guys feeling? How are your points/stats adding up?

Hello there. I am looking to apply for spring 2019 too. If I counted my points correctly I have 145 points. I'm hoping it's enough to get in.
Hi! Based on the threads from previous semester applicants, I think you are definitely in the safe zone! I'm skimming at the border with 137!

I'm applying! I'm so anxious because Based in past threads I'm at the cutoff at 130. I know it could go either way.
Just thought I would update in case your weren't aware this will be the last 2 year class they will take. Starting in sept will be a 4 year bsn program
I've heard this from a couple of people and that if you are accepted in the Spring 2019 you are not automatically grandfathered in. I wish I knew how that would work and what the new requirements would be. It took me forever to get all the classes that NCC required for the program.

Hi I plan to apply for the Spring 2019. How can I find out how many points I have and the rubric to go by? Also do you think this semester will be less competitive since more people may want to wait for the full 4 year program? Lastly if I took the TEAS in the past and did not do so good will they still allow me to retake it & go by the newest score or would they use the time I did not so good against me?

Yes they use the higher score from all all the exams you've taken -- Atleast that's what they said last semester-also I was told that starting next semester the
science score would be counted ,
I'm planning on applying for spring 19 as well , so far i think I have 144.5 points... praying that's a good enough score
Not sure what the "Grandfather in" really entail
Anyone has any idea about how many seats are available for Spring or what they scheduled hours are for the clinical classes ?
So I found out that there are 64 spots for Spring semester ... hopefully we get in
wow not a lot of spots. Hopefully a lot of people don't apply and wait until the Fall 2019 semester since supposedly that's when they'll turn into a BSN program. From what I have heard if you get into Spring 2019 you will get an associates you will not automatically be put into the BSN program in the Fall.
